This map is based on the territorial claims, by mostly extremists, in Skopje since 1991. It has no official status in the Republic of Macedonia (FYROM). Contrary to the constitution of the country, its aim remains to propagate the view that the borders of the Republic of Macedonia should coincide with the borders of the, so called, region of Macedonia. The map was also accompanied with calls for the ethnic cleansing of the native inhabitants in Greece, Bulgaria and Albania and of the Albanians within the republic itself.
