Roland JC-120 Jazz Chorus Amplifier is a guitar amplifier first produced in 1975. The amp is renowned for its crystal clear sound, lush chorus effect, and high quality tone and effects sounds. Many bands use it, especially indie, rock, jazz and electro acts. The amplifier was famously used by James Hetfield of thrash metal band Metallica to record the intro of the song Enter Sandman, in 1991. It has been used by Robert Smith, the Cure's leader, during the recording sessions of 17 seconds, album released in 1980, as stated by Mike Hedges, co-producer, in an interview that you can read at the following link

The amp has also been the staple "clean tone amp" of Hetfield's ever since 1988. The amp can also be effectively used as a bass, singing or keyboard amp.
