Rohr im Gebirge is a town in the Wiener Neustadt-Land district, Lower Austria, Austria. 29.5% of the municipality are forested, 52.1% are alpine.

In Roman times, the area used to be part of Pannonia. It lies in the heartland of Lower Austria diving the place in Austrian history.
There are 42 companies of which 42 are related with forestry. 239 persons are employed. The activity rate was 46.8%.
