Rogelio Figueroa

Rogelio Figueroa (born September 1963 in Ceiba, Puerto Rico) is the 2008 gubernatorial candidate for the Puerto Ricans for Puerto Rico (PPR) party, a registered political party in the U.S. Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

Figueroa graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering in 1986, and graduated from Ohio State University with a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering in 1988. He worked as an entrepreneur in the field of industrial technical services, and became an environmental activist and leader. In 2003 he co-founded the Puerto Ricans for Puerto Rico party in 2003, and ran as a write-in candidate for Puerto Rico governor in the 2004 elections.
