Rod Wright (born in Penrith, New South Wales) is an Australian former professional rugby league player for the Penrith Panthers in the National Rugby League competition. His position of choice was at lock. He now teaches as a rugby league coach and is a behavioural teacher at Coombabah State High School.[citation needed]
