Rock3 was a title and later brand name used to help British rock artists to get promoted, although the website has developed and the brand name has grown the ethics has remained the same... to promote British rock artists where possible ( particularly new artists ) in a way that is free but without impringing on any copyrights. ( ie: webzine ) Although volunteers come and go the website is principally run and paid for by me. We currently have a great bunch of enthusiastic volunteers who have brought excellent Journalistic skills to the site with their abilities. Originally started as a web stream to play underground bands through the 'webmesh' personal website early in 2001 this later grew into the Rock3 Radio site mainly due to encouragement from artists who were not getting a fair shake from the music industry in general (this was all before the proliferation of sites like myspace etc..)
