A Note of History and Recognition - I would like to suggest that some credit for the park be given to the Rochester Schools and the Rochester Youth Athletic Association. In the early years, the park was nothing until the school and the RYAA spent a tremendous amount of time into so many aspects of the park and then an agreement was made with the Village to allow for a wonderfully productive coop with the Village. The Village saved thousands of dollars of labor and materials while the good people of the Village including the Rochester School District enjoyed the benefits of the efforts of the schools, the Village and the all volunteer RYAA.
