Roger A. "Rocky" McIntosh (born November 15, 1982 in Gaffney, South Carolina) is a current American football linebacker for the Washington Redskins. He was drafted as the 35th overall pick in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft.
McIntosh played college football at the University of Miami.
McIntosh tore both the ACL and MCL ligaments in a 22-10 victory over the New York Giants during December of the 2007 season, ending his season. At his end of year press conference, Joe Gibbs stated that McIntosh would be ready to go by the beginning of the 2008 season, as conveyed to him by head trainer Bubba Tyer.
Redskins head trainer Bubba Tyer revealed that McIntosh did not tear both his MCL and ACL in Week 15 of last season. Only the anterior cruciate ligament was torn, reducing McIntosh's recovery time substantially. The team now expects him to be ready for training camp.
