Rock for a Cause is a charity concert series formed by students of Merrimack College. The annual concerts feature local musicians who donate their time and talent to the event. Past concerts have benefited the Station Nightclub Fire Relief Fund and the VH1 Save the Music Foundation. In 2007, the first non-Merrimack show occurred at Bill's Bar in Boston. This show benefited the Jimmy Fund. It also was the first show to have several sponsors, including BostonMusicSpotlight.com.
