[edit] Summary

Representative pieces of late Rockingham porcelain from wikipedian BaseTurnComplete's collection.

  • Back left, teapot stand decorated with grey vine leaves, "seaweed" gilding and gilded acanthus leaves.
  • Back right, "triple-spur" shape teapot decorated with a grey ground and much gilding including acanthus leaves, with painted landscape reserves.
  • Front left, trio of tea cup, coffee cup and saucer, "triple-spur" shape decorated with C-scrolls, grey vine leaves and gilded vines.
  • Front right cup and saucer, "basketweave" shape with dark blue ground and gilding.

Note that despite the similarity between the designs on the teapot stand, the teapot and the trio, these actually represent slightly different designs. Both saucers marked with a puce mark. 1830-1842.
