Category:Rock in Opposition
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Rock in Opposition or RIO refers a movement representing a collective of bands that appeared at the RIO festivals or bands and musicians related to, derived from or "sounds like" the original RIO bands.
While Rock in Opposition is strictly not a style of music, it is often used to link bands and musicians to the "collective style of music" of the original RIO bands. Bands within this classification may also be described as progressive rock or post-rock.
