[edit] Welcome!

Hello, Robertoamt1, and welcome to Wikipedia! I am CTSWyneken. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Again, welcome! And if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. --CTSWyneken 14:23, 15 May 2006 (UTC)sup>(talk)

Hello Roberto, I ordinarily reply on my page to messages there, however an exception here. I am placing the canned spam notice below, read it carefully, considering the revert war currently occurring at Costa Rica over external links, you should proceed with caution - and be aware of Wikipedia:3RR. Why not add your images and text content directly to a Wikipedia article. Images must be released to comply with GFDL, or whatever, but if they are yours that should be no problem. The content and images you add won't fall under the spam header. Please comply with Wikipedia standards and provide sources for your written work. Vsmith 22:45, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Standard spam warning follows:
Please do not add commercial links (or links to your own private websites) to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. See the welcome page to learn more. Thanks. Vsmith 22:45, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. Please note that page blanking, addition of random text or spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, and repeated and blatant violation of WP:NPOV are considered vandalism. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may come back after the block expires. Temporarily blocked for repeat spamming despite warning. Vsmith 12:56, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] External link Spam

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Costa Rica. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- LaNicoya  •Talk•  02:33, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from all of Wikipedia. [1] JonHarder talk 03:58, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
