[edit] Advice on your movie articles
If you're going to create dozens of poorly written articles on obscure movies, please have the courtesy to not remove my tagging, and to tag them with {{stub}} or {{cleanup}} yourself. --maru (talk) contribs 17:47, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Robert, I think it's a great idea to expand the material on Eric Rohmer. However, you are going to attract a lot of attention by creating a new article for every short film he made, especially because there is probably not very much to say about each one. I suggest you create just one article to list all of Rohmer's short films and then provide your short description as part of the list. Most of us have never heard of these films (even those of us who admire Rohmer), so they will appear "non-notable" (see WP:Notability) to most editors and may get tagged for deletion so quickly that you won't have any time to work on them. I really suggest just creating a single page first. Later, if there is more to be written about a particular film, then a new page can be created for it. Happy editing! [edit] L'Arbre, le maire et la médiathèque
Please stop recreating your article at L'Arbre, le maire et la médiathèque until you at least explain what it is. And see the other articles we have on movies, so you'll know how to write one. User:Zoe|(talk) 23:38, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit to Until I Find You
Please don't add original research of any kind to articles, as you did to Until I Find You. One of the founding principles of Wikipedia is that original research is not acceptable and should be deleted at all times. What's more, Wikipedia isn't a review site; since reviews are original research they don't belong on Wikipedia. --Charlene 01:52, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:P8181411.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:P8181411.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:10, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Contempo webcast on http://basic.ch
The article Contempo webcast on http://basic.ch has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:20, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Robert Grassi
A tag has been placed on Robert Grassi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- laurap414 (talk) 23:22, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
