[edit] G Holland

Hello. You may not remove speedy deletion tags from pages which you have created yourself, as you did with G Holland. If you want to contest the deletion request, place the {{holdon}} tag right below the deletion tag, and explain your reasoning on the article's talk page. ~ | twsx | talkcont | 09:55, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] In response to your question on the deleted article's talk page:

how else do you start a page without it being deleted, such as Sony Xbox etc.? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rob101abc (talkcontribs)

Notability plays a major role for product or company articles. Well-known products or companies (for example, the ones you mentioned, the company Sony and the product Xbox) bring a lot of reliable, independent sources that establish their notability. Smaller companies are often not notable to the public discourse, and therefor no such sources can be found, which means failure to prove notability, which again means the company or product might not be suitable for an own article on wikipedia. ~ | twsx | talkcont | 10:03, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
