[edit] Career
Robert Chaos found his interest in rapping when he was 15, and he wrote rhymes and appeared in rap competitions, but he never even made it through the first round. He also did an mini-album which only had 8 tracks which was called 'The Chaotic Era Has Begun', and they sold very miserably on the streets with only 108 copies sold. But he never planned to give up as his ambition was to be among the big stars and legends.
But then his dad's friend helped him improve his style and flow, and therefore increasing Robert's interest in music.
[edit] Retiring and Returning
When he was 16, he was in college studying I.T., but he mostly concentrated on music more than his education. He was working on a mixtape called 'Da Resurrection', reason being because there was a time when the critics doubted him severely and he quit rapping for a long while, therefore doing the song 'Should I End It All' saying:
[['All i can say is you people won, I'm done, I've had my chance, I've had my fans, I've had my fun' 'I clench my style so tight, I even use it in a fight, but now i think it's time to pass it on and say thank you good night' 'Some of you don't know what i'm on about, and some of you will never know, but once you know you've done enough, it's time to go.']]
But then he got encouraged by his loved ones and friends to continue what he loved. When he released the mixtape it sold 550 copies, way better than his previous mixtape.
But he planned to make sure he sells triple that next time. He passed most of his studies, and since then has been on the music scene currently working underground and preparing an album called 'It's My Time Now' which WAS scheduled for release at December '06 but has been delayed until early 2007 for unknown reasons.
He also says he dosen't think he should sell his album in the UK, because the UK public mostly listen to Grime and Garage and Pop, therefore he wouldn't sell good in the UK, so he will do most of his album over the US and sell it there first, and if it does very well there, he wants to sell it worldwide.
His first official track from the album will be the album title track 'It's My Time Now!' which is produced by Mr MoneyBags, but it might be changed to 'What These Haterz Say' which features upcoming artist Masterpiez.
His second track from the album will be 'Liberty' which will have the theme tune from the game 'Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories' as the backing track.
And his third track from the album he wants released will be 'I'll Let Them Represent Me', which will tell people about his family, and to show people and critics that to prove that he is successful is by all the money that he's made. He released a mixtape called "The Build-Up", the title obviously referenced to building up hype for his album, and it sold resonably well with 1,250 copies sold.
However, unfortunatly it wasn't convincing enough for Robert, and he retired from music scene, and vowed he would not be returning again.
[edit] Style
Robert's style is really laid-back, calm, not too violent like most current rappers, and always sticks to the point e.g. from his remix song 'Kiss Your Ass Goodbye' he says:
'I don't bother with gats i'm reppin' the bats' 'I got a special swing for all you haters and cats' 'Loads of people hatin' but what fo' 'Don't make have to put a tag on your toe and exhange your ass for some doe' 'I plan to keep the streets quiet no weapons needed' 'Trust me I will do it, I'm soon to be number one seeded'
He is mostly known for his 'Kiss Your Ass Goodbye' remix and 'The Art Of Chaos freestyle', which showed his true style and flow and also not tryin to quickly finish a line in case he goes offbeat.
[edit] Producing
After he announced his retirement on myspace after putting up his final track "The Way I Are RMX", he took a lenghty break and found interest in producing music, and he has very little recognition in his producing skills, but he promised to unleash his work in the upcoming year, but right now currently he is in college doing a music course to improve.
[edit] Rumors
Rumors have been circulating around in the undergound world that Robert might scrap his album and start from scratch, because he dosen't want it to get under-promoted and then fail in sales.
Rumors are that a track has been leaked on the internet of him and Nate Dogg doing a remix of Obie Trice 'The Set-Up', but none of it is official yet.
And recently, late December, there have been random messages that has been seen on his myspace like 'The 3rd Coming' and "One Word - February", and he has given little information about it in his blogs. So far, no one knows what these mean, but they are being looked into.
