The article asserts that the subject is notable: An author of several best-selling books certainly meets the criteria in WP:BIO. However, this needs to be backed by independent reliable sources: For example, independent book reviews, or book sales rankings from independent scoring agencies. Just claiming that the books are "bestsellers" is not enough.
