This article states that Robin Givens's accusations of spousal abuse are true because her husband Mike Tyson was arrested. An arrest is not an adequate basis for asserting truth: that requires a court verdict. I located an online reference that states this led to a civil suit, and that Ms. Givens's publicist filed a separate suit against Mr. Tyson following an alleged death threat.[1] However, I have been unable to uncover the outcome of any of these proceedings. If either court found against Mr. Tyson then the relevant facts should be stated and cited, both on this page and on Mr. Tyson's biography (which does not mention these issues at all). If the civil suits settled out of court then I'd refer this to one of Wikipedia's volunteer attorneys for the proper presentation. Otherwise Ms. Givens's biography should be edited to remove a potentially libelous statement. Durova 01:10, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

The bio box for Tyson added at the bottom of Givens' page ought to be deleted. Ex spouses, even famous ex spouses, have their own pages and therefore shouldn't be included in the spouse's page. Tom Cruise's page doesn't have a similar bio box for Nicole Kidman, for example, and that is as it should be. Concerning Givens' 1997 marriage to Marinkovic, according to this link: http://media.www.fsunews.com/media/storage/paper920/news/2004/01/07/Lifestyles/I.Do-Oops.I.Dont.Oh.Whatever-2360725.shtml her marriage was terminated in Las Vegas, Nevada, Clark County.
