In the article, it's a bit confusing to read that Cringely did such-and-such when it doesn't specify which Cringely (the reader is forced to determine this based on context). Should this article be changed to a disambiguation page, and Mark Stephens moved to his own page in Wikipedia? Traal 21:03, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

I came here to say roughly the same thing. There's a use for a Robert X. Cringely page to explain the controversy over the history of the pseudonym and to disambiguate further topics but there should also be a Mark Stephens page that contains info that only pertains to him. According to the Wired article about him, he majored in Physics when at The College of Wooster, but according to Wooster's IS database, he majored in History. Which is it? JSBillings 23:29, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

The body of the article says the current writer of Notes from the Field is unknow. The end of the article identifies that writer. This seems like an obvious dichotomy that needs correcting, although I've no idea which is true so I won't correct it.
