[edit] Cloag?

Do we have a source for the claim that Stirling was born in "Cloag"? As far as I can tell, Cloag is a farm just north of the Perthshire village of Methven (we don't have an article for the village yet, but I'll get around to it). The proprietor of the farm (who naturally runs it as a holiday cottage too) doesn't mention this on his website. I'll send them an email and see if they know anything about it. -- John Fader 03:08, 17 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Note to self - here's the multimap OS page for Cloag. -- John Fader 03:12, 17 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Bob Sier's 1995 biography of the Rev Robert Stirling D D. (ISBN 0 9526417 0 4) gives Cloag as his birth place (and also a lot more information which would greatly improve this article!). 213.123.247.91 (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 13:24, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
