[edit] Other Robert Shapiros
There is another Robert Shapiro, who is professor ermitus at NYU. He is involved with chemistry and exobiology. I wont write the article, because I have no idea about the style rules and because I am a poor writer, but would appriciate, if someone would do. Here are two links to start with: http://www.edge.org/3rd_culture/bios/shapiro.html http://chemistry.fas.nyu.edu/object/robertshapiro.html
- I'd suggest at least creating a user account here and then writing something in your user area to start. Someone can proof-read and copyedit from there if you want. From the links you provided, I'm not even sure he's noteworthy enough - but I'm not an expert on such questions. --wknight94 20:55, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
There's also a Robert J. Shapiro, usually called just "Rob Shapiro," who was an impoirtant Clinton administration economist, and who since has made a reputation as an expert witness in some litigation involving securities fraud. http://www.ppionline.org/ppi_ci.cfm?contentid=253358&knlgAreaID=125&subsecid=163 --Christofurio 23:53, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- If he had an article, you could put a proper italicized "see also" link at the top. It's not customary to put a reference at the bottom of a bio page referring to someone who doesn't have an article - therefore, I'm going to revert the latest edit for now. If an article is created, feel free to put a notice up at the top. —Wknight94 (talk) 00:07, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

- I created the article, and then the notice. --Christofurio 20:14, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

- A disambiguation page may be in order; there are a number of links within Wikipedia to this page, expecting that the former Warner Brothers bigwig/artichoke Robert Shapiro is covered. Abb3w 13:46, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
