I'm not certain, but I believe the cause of Ruark's death was never officially made public. He was rushed from his home in Spain to London where he later died.... I recall reading that some sort of organ failure (cirrosis of liver?)is suspected, given that he was an extremely heavy drinker. His family and boyhood were marred by alcoholism in the family. He also smoked a lot. Bottom line: he did not live a healthy/exemplary life as an adult; probably due to earlier influences. Engr105th 21:56, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
