Keohane usually is characterized as a leading theorist within the neoliberal approach to international relations. The article describes him as a utilitarian in just war theory, however there is no mention on his Princeton profile, personal web site or CV of utilitarianism or just war theory. He has written extensively on hegemony and neoLiberalism more generally, including in processes of economic integration between states.
