I loved Rob. We were roommates for a while in the late 80s. He wasn't out of the closet yet, but I knew anyway. I was a PC-guy, rob was a mac-fanatic. But we got along just fine. I guess we were 2 of a kind.

I still lament his passing. I think about all the things today and wonder what he would be up to today. The world has changed so much, and we used to talk about things to come. Some of the things I did in later years we only dreamed about.

I wish he was here today -- I think we would become even better friends.
