[edit] Justification to keep this page

Robert Fassnacht was one of the few victims of the violent protests in the United States surrounding the Vietnam War. This is a very significant event in the history of the United States and he is a notable individual as a result. Many people are notable only because of their connection to one event. His connection to the Sterling Hall Bombing is covered in that article but that does not negate the value of this article. That his entry is short is a result of two things: 1) his short and somewhat limited life: he spent virtually every year of his life as a student. and 2) his widow's ardent dedication to privacy. None of this should mean that this article should be deleted. Crunch 12:05, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

• In comparison to, oh, let's say Natalee Holloway, Fassnacht, as the victim of notable politically motivated violence, definitely has a place here. Thatcher131 15:48, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

• I would also add that are articles for each of the four students who were killed at Kent State. This would seem to fall into the same category. Crunch 09:00, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
