I have a problem with this statement: His products have recently lost a great deal of market share to Microsoft's Windows Media Player.

...for the following reasons:

  • It's vague. Did RealRhapsody lose market share to WMP? Did Microsoft Word lose marketshare to WMP (Rob managed that product many moons ago)? How much is "a great deal"?
  • It's not relevant. Why put this in Rob Glaser's bio? Why not put it in the article about RealNetworks, since I'm presuming its RealNetworks' products that are the question?
  • It's not NPOV. "Great deal" is subjective.

I'm a longtime RealNetworks employee, so I'm not going to say much more than this on the subject. However, it would be nice if this went away. -- RobLa 05:50, 28 Feb 2005 (UTC)
