Robin Thede is an actress, writer, sketch/improvisational comedian, host and radio personality. After earning a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University, Robin studied comedy at Second City in Chicago. She performed with several improvisational and sketch comedy groups while in the Windy City, including "Words" and "Quagmire."
Robin then moved to Los Angeles, where she appeared on several TV shows, including "All of Us" (UPN/CW) and "Frank TV" (TBS). She was a series regular on "Socially Offensive Behavior" on BET and worked with George Wendt and Ted Danson on the A & E sketch comedy special "A Guy Walks Into A Bar." Robin is also a TV host and entertainment reporter, appearing as a regular correspondent on "E! News" with Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic between 2007 and 2008. In addition to several live sketch comedy shows, Robin has also written for TV, including for the 2007 and 2008 BET Awards, and an upcoming sketch comedy project for TV with comedian Mike Epps.
Robin is also a weekly host on "The Voice of Reason" with Zo Williams on Sirius Satellite Channel 106, "The Foxxhole" (Jaime Foxx's radio network). In June 2008, Robin will begin shooting the original web series "Buppies," with actress Tatyana Ali.
