Known as R.E.E.F., the Robertson Education Empowerment Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting new and innovative programs of investment in education. The foundation is a resource for higher education students that desire alternative financing to financial aid and loans to pay for educational expenses.
Founded by Michael Robertson, R.E.E.F. began its Education Investment program in the Fall 2002 at the University of California, San Diego campus with an initial investment of $3 million. Repayments of these investments post-graduation by students enables more opportunity for the future generations of the University of California System.
