Mr. Skimin's life has been almost as colorful as his characters in his books.
Mr. Skimin was the first pilot to receive the Green Beret. [1]
Mr. Skimin is a surviver of larynx cancer (1991-1992) and very vocally supports cancer prevention and recovery. [2]
Robert Skimin has written a number of history based books. The Library of Congress [3] lists 14 titles to date. [1]
His works range from "Booze Game" about his personal growth from alcohol, to factual history, and to alternative history. Details about his life can be found on his own biographical website [4].
He is currently living in El Paso, Texas. His current works are a book series called Danny Drumm's Heroes.
