Dr. Robert L. Rooks is the founder and current Medical Director of VCA All-Care Animal Referral Center. He is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Dr. Rooks has been instrumental in advancing the field of veterinary medicine. He has developed a surgical procedure and specialized implant for the treatment for hip dysplasia in dogs. Dr. Rooks has been recognized by his peers for his contributions to veterinary medicine, including and most notably, the American Animal Hospital Association's prestigious Charles E. Bild Practitioner of the Year Award. This is the highest award given by the American Animal Hospital Association.
Dr. Rooks is also part of the management team of Edgewater Foods.
