Robert Kotler

A native of Chicago, Dr. Robert Kotler attended the University of Wisconsin and Northwestern University Medical School. His specialty training, exclusively in face, head and neck surgery, was at Cook County Hospital, Northwestern University and the University of Illinois.
Dr. Robert Kotler, of Beverly Hills, has performed more than 10,000 major cosmetic procedures during his over 30 years in private practice. As a spokesperson for cosmetic surgeons, he regularly appears on radio and television, including ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and Fox News; on such shows as Oprah, Deborah Norville Tonight, Your World With Neil Cavuto, EXTRA, Entertainment Tonight and Access Hollywood. Dr. Kotler was one of the original stars of E! Entertainment’s popular TV reality cosmetic surgery series, Dr. 90210. The hugely successful program, the longest running TV program of its kind, airs in over 100 countries and will shortly be in syndication throughout the world. He has also been interviewed in most leading magazines and newspapers, including Allure, National Enquirer, Parade, Time, Los Angeles Magazine, USA Weekend, US Weekly, In Touch Weekly, Health, Self, W, Town and County and The Wall Street Journal.
Dr. Kotler is a Clinical Instructor at UCLA Medical Center and an Attending Surgeon at the West Los Angeles Veteran’s Medical Center. He is a former Major in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, has served as a Consultant to the Medical Board of California and the City and County of Los Angeles.
Dr. Kotler is the recent author of THE ESSENTIAL COSMETIC SURGERY COMPANION, Don’t Consult A Surgeon Without This Book! and the category best-seller SECRETS OF A BEVERLY HILLS COSMETIC SURGEON, The Experts Guide to Safe, Successful Surgery . He previously authored The Consumers Guidebook to Cosmetic Facial Surgery and Chemical Rejuvenation of the Face, a medical text, used by physicians worldwide. He is credited with over 52 medical publications and has contributed to 14 books for physicians and the public.
Most recently, Dr. Kotler is featured as the “go to” cosmetic surgeon on the online resource for medical information, www.webmd.com.
