Robert Emmett Fitzsimmons

Emmett Fitzsimmons is a retired NYPD police officer who has appeared in a number of films and television series. He was awarded the "Combat Cross" by the Mayor of the City Of New York for acts of extraordinary heroism while engaged in armed personal combat with an armed adversary under circumstances of imminent personal hazard to life.

Emmett is a member of SAG and AFTRA and has worked directly opposite; Larry Hagman, McLean Stevenson, Jack Scalia, Frank Gorshin, Christopher Walken, Daniel Hugh Kelly, Michael J. Fox, Lorraine Bracco, Tyra Ferrell, Yancy Butler, Victoria Jackson, Saundra Santiago.

Emmett was awarded "Best Short Film Made in Florida Competition 1994" at the Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival for the "Confession" a story he wrote, produced and directed. He is currently working as a freelance Producer, Production Manager and has numerous projects in various stages of development. Emmett continues to perform both in film and theatre. He owns "Shots Fired Productions"
