Robert E. Landweer & Co., Inc., a Customs Brokerage and Freight Forwarding company, was founded in Seattle, Washington, USA in 1936. It is a local and privately held firm, with a long history in the International Commerce community in Seattle. The company offers services in a variety of segments, including documentation relating to imports; insurance of goods imported; and entry and clearnace of goods through custom check points. The company was established as a propritorship firm by Robert E. Landweer himself, and registered good growth in its activities during the late 1930s and 1940s. In 1952, the firm was incorporated into a public company.
