Robert Arp

Robert Arp works as a Research Associate in the Ontology Research Group through the National Center for Biomedical Ontology, housed at the New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics & Life Sciences. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 20, 1970, and grew up in Cicero, Illinois. He specializes in philosophical ontology, philosophy of biology and philosophy of mind and, currently, he is doing research in ontology related to bioinformatics and the biomedical domain with Barry Smith (ontologist).
