Robert ("Robbie") Crane (born January 5, 1969 in Orange County, California) moved to the Fairfax District of Hollywood, California at the age of 9 were he attended Bancroft juinor high and Fairfax high school. For his 14th birthday his father bought him his first bass guitar from Fairfax Music School in Hollywood. Soon after Robbie and bestfriend Stuart Waldman were playing Hollywood clubs with their first band "Dreamsuite" when they were only 16. Robbie went on to tech for Bobby Dall of Poison from 1984 - 1986. As a bassist he played in local L.A. bands: Hot Wheelz, New Haven and Monroe (Rick Monroe) and has toured and recorded with the Vince Neil Band (Steve Stevens) and Vertex (touring only). From 1996 to currently he has been touring and recording with Ratt.
His side (Jam/Cover) projects have included: Love/Hate, Adler's Appetite and The Big Ball Starrs.
