Rob Jones (meteorologist)

Rob Jones is a meteorologist for NBC Weather Plus.

Jones has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography with Meteorology and Spanish minors from the University of Miami as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University.

[edit] PAST JOB EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining NBC, Jones was a Meteorologist at CBS4 WFOR-TV in Miami, Florida between 2006-2007. He provided weekday forecasts for WFOR during the CBS Early Show, filled in during noon newscasts, and weekend mornings. While at WFOR he provided local weather reports on the CW34 WTVX-TV in West Palm Beach during the nationally syndicated morning show called The Daily Buzz.

He also has spent time at News 12 Connecticut in Norwalk, CT and WeatherVision in Jackson, MS.
