Rob Capriccioso is an award-winning Native American journalist based in Washington, D.C.

Capriccioso currently works as a staff reporter for Indian Country Today, and his articles have appeared in many major Native-focused publications, including American Indian Report and News from Indian Country. His writing on various American Indian governmental and cultural topics has been featured in The New York Sun, The American and Cultural Survival Quarterly.
Capriccioso has also conducted political writing and editing and is currently a contributing editor to Politics magazine. Several of his political scoops have been featured in the New York Post, Radar and online at TMZ.com.
As the founder of the Big Head DC blog, Capriccioso oversaw the publication of multiple major political scandal items, including widely-read exclusives focused on the infamous "D.C. Madam" Deborah Jeane Palfrey.
Capriccioso's writing has also appeared in The New York Times and The Guardian. He formerly reported on education and youth issues for Connect for Kids and Inside Higher Ed.
