| Description |
English: Aerial view of part of Robert S. Kerr Reservoir on the Arkansas River in Oklahoma, USA. The reservoir is impounded on the river by the Robert S. Kerr Lock and Dam, which are part of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, which provides for barge navigation on the Arkansas River and some of its tributaries. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers maintains the locks and navigation system. The reservoir touches the Oklahoma counties of Sequoyah, Le Flore, Haskell, Muskogee, and forms the border between the counties. The exact location of this picture on the reservoir is not identified. However, comparison to satellite photographs reveals that the location of this photograph is on the north side of the reservoir in Sequoyah County, approximately 2.8 miles northwest of the lock and dam.
