[edit] lipodissolve
When I edited I paid no attention to the link itself besides it's positioning in the article. Having a sentence that says something to the effect of 'click here for FAQ' is inappropriate in the middle of an article, unless it's a referencing something.
The reason why I keep adding the unreferenced tag is because the links that you are talking about are on the bottom of the page in an external links section, not in the references section. For all I know the beginning of the article is somebody's opinion or original research because external links are supposed to be for furthering research or linking to copyrighted info that cannot be included in an article. So they are two very different sections. WP:REF is a good place to get started when beginning to edit because it explains how things should be referenced and why. Also if you look over featured articles you begin to get an idea of how an article should sourced, what's appropriate, etc.
I hope this has answered some of your questions. If not feel free to ask me. --ImmortalGoddezz 22:37, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
