• This template lists a number of "basic rules". In several cases I am not aware of any Wikipedia official policy (or even guideline) which backs these "basic rules". E.g. where does it say officially, "Styles are not used in articles; instead, a style box is always used"? I can't find anything in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style (biographies) (which, by the way, is only a guideline) which requires the use of style boxes. I'm not speaking against that usage, merely showing concern that this template could be used to impose something which has not been officially required. Noel S McFerran 13:35, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
