Does anyone have any historical referance material that details how the river Blackwater was named?

NPOV warning: phrases like 'The peace and quiet of this green corridor has been destroyed in recent years by the construction of the Blackwater Valley Relief Road (A331), a motorway in all but name.' are clearly taking up a position. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrewferrier (talkcontribs) 15:18, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
