River Oaks International Tennis Tournament

The River Oaks International Tennis Tournament is held at the River Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas. The tournament is not related to the ATP Tour or Grand Prix since 1982 and players participating in the tournament will not gain points for the ATP rankings. During years 1978 - 1984 the tournament was part of WCT tour and until 1981 also bringing ATP points.
The tournament is played on clay and will have a singles (24 players) and a doubles (12 teams) schedule. In total there is $300,000 available for the players to win. The event also host some special events, which are mostly tennis games between former tennis legends, who return to the courts.
