Rivalz Cardemonde (リヴァル・カルデモンド, Rivaru Karudemondo^?) is a fictional character of the Sunrise anime series, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. He is voiced by Noriaki Sugiyama in the original Japanese and Brian Beacock in the English dub.

One of Lelouch's friends, Rivalz drives Lelouch around on his motorbike as an ante for their bets on chess games. He has a part-time job as a bartender/ waiter and carries a deep, affectionate nature for Milly Ashford, especially when it is announced that she is going through a marriage interview. Ever since Suzaku first arrived at Ashford Academy, Rivalz didn't get along with him quite well. He even stopped Shirley from going near him when she was about to talk to him, but when he saw Suzaku saving Lelouch from falling, and ever since then, Rivalz forms a fast friendship with Suzaku, after joining with the student council, as per Lelouch's request.

After the events of season one, Rivalz went back to his old normal life in Ashford Academy. In episode 5 of R2, He was happy to see Suzaku return and has made a name for himself. Near the end of the event, he is seen with a sad face when he watches Milly dancing with Gino, noted that he still has feeling for her.

Rivalz's real surname is not Cardemonde, but rather his mother's maiden name, when his parents became estranged with each other^[1]. He was born and partially raised in California.^[1]
