   Some things I would like to share bout my Place ie. SHIRVA

   In Udupi taluk, Karnataka state, India. It is famous for Jasmine flowers grown here. Go south of Udupi about 5-6 kms and turn east at Katpadi- travel 12 kms and you are in Shirva. This place is dominated by Christians who mainly grow Jasmine flowers.

These flowers are transported to Mangalore and flown to Mumbai (Bombay) on the same day.

Also Cashew, Coconut trees,are grown in this place

This place has a good Churchs Schools, Colleges. This small place is well connected by buses from Belma, Mudarangadi,Bantakal, Moodubelle and Kaup. <editor> [[Media:Ritesh Pinto
