[edit] Summary

Description

The Gordon Field House on the RIT campus, building 24. Lucius and Marie Gordon were avid supporters of RIT. The Field House was constructed to hold large-scale events such as Convocation. It was completed in 2004 and contains a large arena, two swimming pools, and a weight room. Plans for a Field House were discussed as far back as 1994, when the project was nicknamed the "Simone Dome" by students, after RIT president Dr. Albert J. Simone.
