Risto Törhönen is a Finnish child actor, who has acted from year 2004 a character called Niko Vainio in the popular Finnish soap series Salatut elämät. Risto Törhönen works with series once in week. He and Wilhelmiina Seppä, who actes Oona Kiviranta, went to same school and were in the same class. There was also Anton Härkönen who acted in Salatut elämät. He actes in series Niko's friend Santeri Salonen. Risto Törhönen exit Salatut elämät-series year 2007.

Risto Törhönen's mother Stiina Laakso is the producer of Salatut elämät and father Lauri Törhönen film director.
