Risto Pakarinen

Risto Pakarinen (b. 1967) is a Finnish journalist and author. One of the NHL Blog Central bloggers, and a regular contributor to The Hockey News, he is also a frequent contributor to the ESPN.com. He's based in Stockholm, Sweden. Pakarinen also blogs about hockey on Finnish Plaza and writes for SAS's in-flight magazine Scanorama about Web and Tech.
He's also the author of three books of non-fiction: Pienet Marginaalit - Hockeyn parhaat 2003-04, Joukkue vailla vertaa, and Off The Post: hockey stories from across the world, a collection of his blog entries on nhl.com. Pakarinen is also in the process of translating Ken Dryden's The Game into Finnish.
