The village has two schools, Riseley Lower School, and Margaret Beaufort Middle School. Riseley is within the catchment area of Sharnbrook Upper School and Community College, located four miles away in Sharnbrook. The village has two pubs, The Five Bells and The Fox and Hounds, and a small police station. It also has one of the few remaining Blacksmiths in England, Bob Pentlow. He is a blacksmith as opposed to a farrier and as such does not shoe horses, although his father did many years ago. Bob mainly repairs farm machinery and carries out small fabrications.

Riseley has 2 pubs, a shop (DNS Stores) and used to have a post office, but the post office was closed in 2007.

There is a local church, All Saints Riseley, the vicar of which is Martin Bailey.
