[edit] Hello
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for writing the article MonstersGame. Unfortunately, it doesn't conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new articles, and has, as a result, been marked for deletion. However, please do not be disheartened by what may or may not happen to your first article, if indeed it is deleted - please continue to edit Wikipedia and add articles which conform with the inclusion criteria. For help, see Help:Contents. To find out what will probably be deleted, see Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion and Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. Thanks, and if you have any questions, please ask them on my user talk page. To do this, click on my name (just after this sentence) and click discussion at the top and then the (+) button at the top. KillerChihuahua?!? 13:08, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hello
Hi Ripptor, and Welcome! I'm fairly new here myself, but I thought I'd give you some pointers and links you might find helpful.
Focus on making sure your articles measure up to the criteria for articles, rather than whether the page has been deleted before. If the page has been deleted before, it was for one of these reasons
The one this you always want to check before making a new page is to see if it satisifys WP:Notability and WP:NPOV (The first deems an article irrelevant, the second deems it advertising or "soapbox"
And these are basic editing guides
- User pages
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Wikipedia in brief
- How to edit a page (or, the quick cheatsheet version)
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
- Glossary
- What Wikipedia is not
- Assume good faith
- Wikiquette
- Sandbox (this page is for testing)
- Your first article
Hope this helps, and remember we all assume good faith, so keep trying and Be BOLD!!!
