I have uploaded a photograph of the bridge and excursion boat at Rio Nido, which I took in Kodacolor in late summer 1963. The only other photos I have of the area are family photos, which would be inappropriate for the article. I am hoping to take some photographs in 2007, when I plan to return to the San Francisco Bay Area for a visit. The demise of the beach by the mid-1970s is a sad story; as I recall, it was brought about by gang problems. Sallyrob 18:44, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

I was able to take some photographs of Rio Nido in May 2008. The village square had changed little, but the path to the beach, including the tunnel under the county highway, has deteriorated. There is now graffiti in the tunnel and the path is largely overgrown with weeds. As noted in the article, the beach had ceased to exist by the mid 1970s. Sallyrob (talk) 16:33, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
