Rio Hondo (New Mexico)

The Rio Hondo, aka the Hondo River, is a waterway in northern New Mexico that flows from Taos Ski Valley to the Rio Grande. It is prized as a prime spot for bird-watching and fishing.

The Rio Hondo begins at the confluence of the Rio Ruidoso and the Rio Bonita (Bonito?)in Southern New Mexico. It then flows through the town of Roswell, NM where it shortly empties into the Pecos River.
